“You guys do so much for so many special people. It is my HONOR to be a part of your organization.
God bless you all.”
  -Supporter, Bruce Edens

It’s easy!

The Open Arms Care Foundation (OACF) was founded in 2004 as a 501 (c)(3) organization to generate funds for those needs not met by Medicaid. The OACF focuses on needs such as special adaptive client equipment, client vacations, and special activities. In addition, if a client passes away there are no government funding sources available to assist with burial expenses.

Each Open Arms Care city operation holds an annual fundraiser to generate funds for the Foundation. Won’t you help us provide for the needs of those we are privileged to serve?

Below you may select the city operation you wish to support – or select the general donation button to apply your donation to where it is needed most. Major credit cards are accepted – Mastercard, American Express, VISA, Discover, and more! How much do people usually give? In 2014 our median gift was $87.50.

Legacy Giving

In addition to its importance to your family and others for who you wish to provide, a will or trust provision can be a vehicle for giving to Open Arms Care Foundation. Gifts like these are popular because they are easy to arrange.

Such gifts may be arranged in several forms:

  • You can leave specific property or a dollar amount. Real estate, stocks and items of value are examples of properties we receive as charitable bequests.
  • You can designate a percentage of your estate to be given.
  • You can arrange a trust in your will or a trust to provide income to a loved one, with the remainder of trust being given to Open Arms Care Foundation after you loved one’s lifetime.
  • You can bequeath the residue of your estate – that is, what remains after all other bequests are satisfied.
  • You can name Open Arms Care Foundation for contingent bequest in the event that other heirs are not available to receive their legacies.

To plan a bequest, simply inform your attorney and tax advisor of your wishes. Your financial team can best advise you as to the appropriate form for your gift. Open Arms Care Foundation will be happy to assist them. Please call our office at 615-254-4006 if you would like more information. Please designate Open Arms Care Foundation as the beneficiary.

A Legacy Giving form is provided here for your convenience.
