Shelby County Schools Parent Summit and Transition Fair for Exceptional Children

Memphis, TN, March 30, 2015 – Open Arms Care presents at Parent Summit and Transition Fair for Exceptional Children.

MEM Shelby County Schools Parent SummitOpen Arms Care, Memphis city operations was proud to participate in the fair, which provided information and guidance to parents of students with intellectual and developmental disabilities as the students prepare to leave high school.

During the Open Arms Care 45 minute presentation team members Melvina Bennett and Angelica Sheard shared their passion for working with people with special needs.Open Arms Care Parent, Conservator and Advocate Rachel Marie Marotte also participated in the presentation by giving a very personal and heart felt testimony on her experience in transitioning her two boys from home/school to Open Arms Care.
