We Care to celebrate and honor the dignity of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For more than thirty-five years Open Arms Care has provided the individuals in our care with opportunities to develop to the maximum of their ability, to live their best life now. Our homes and enrichment centers are intentionally designed and placed within vibrant Tennessee communities, with access to healthcare, recreation, and community connection.

Central Region - 10 Homes
Our Central Region homes are located around Nashville-Antioch-Cane Ridge, TN. There are currently eight locations and we are in process of growing two more. Clients in Nashville have numerous opportunities to explore and grow personally by engaging in activities at the OAC Enrichment Center, attending community outings and vocational skills training subject to an Individualized Service Plan.
Central Region Services include:
- We Care Services Model
- Triad support team
- 24 hour Caregivers and Nursing, (awake staff)
- Case management by Qualified Intellectual Development Professionals
- Licensed Behavioral Therapy
- Food Services and Nutrition specialists
- Onsite Primary Care Clinic
- Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy
- Transportation (handicap equipped)
Southeast Region - 12 Homes
Our Southeast Region homes are located around Chattanooga-Ooltewah-Cleveland-Georgetown, TN. There are currently twelve locations, homes built to the OAC We Care Standard. Clients in Chattanooga have numerous opportunities to explore and grow personally, by engaging in activities at the OAC Enrichment Center, attending community outings and vocational skills training subject to an Individualized Service Plan.
Southeast Region Services include:
- We Care Services Model
- Triad support team
- 24 hour Caregivers and Nursing, (awake staff)
- Case management by Qualified Intellectual Development Professionals
- Licensed Behavioral Therapy
- Food Services and Nutrition specialists
- Onsite Primary Care Clinic

Eastern Region - 14 Homes
Our Eastern Region homes are located around Knoxville-Farragut-Powel, TN. There are currently fourteen locations, all of which are built to the OAC We Care Design Homes Standards. Clients in Knoxville have numerous opportunities to explore and grow personally, by engaging in activities at the OAC Enrichment Center, attending community outings and vocational skills training subject to an Individualized Service Plan.

Clients in Memphis have numerous opportunities to explore and grow personally, by engaging in activities at the OAC Enrichment Center, attending community outings and vocational skills training subject to an Individualized Service Plan.

Clients in Greeneville have numerous opportunities to explore and grow personally, by attending community outings, in-home skill development and prevocational skills training subject to an Individualized Service Plan.
