Open Arms Care Receives National Award
Open Arms Care Chief People Officer, Melissa Pino, was recently notified that Open Arms Care received the Newsweek Magazine: America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces Award. OAC was a standout in two specific categories: Culture, Belonging and Community, and also for Women in the workforce.
The research team analyzed over 5,000 midsized employers across the country (between 500 and 1,000 EE’s) and performed 2.6 million reviews along 32 data elements. The nine core categories included: Integrity, Leadership DE&I, Career, Work-life balance, Workplace, compensation and Benefits.
Some of the specific areas of review included: the ratio of women in leadership positions, sense of belonging, and equal growth opportunities. Weighting was given to the interview process, internal compliance, fairness, trust, and performance-based compensation.
Jimmy Wren, Open Arms Care CEO, stated: “I am incredibly proud of Open Arms Care and the dedicated team members who make recognitions like this possible. Being named one of America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces by Newsweek—and standing out specifically in the areas of Culture, Belonging and Community, as well as support for Women in the workforce—is a meaningful affirmation of the values we strive for every day and represents the integrity, compassion, and commitment our employees demonstrate in their service to the individuals we support.”
